At That’s Amore we love where we are, who we are, and what we do.
We share that passion with our guests through our restaurant, cooking classes, food tours, and private dining events.
You can enjoy Italian cuisine like a true Roman: shop in colorful markets, taste typical street foods, and make pasta or pizza using traditional recipes.
Dine in our exclusive private apartments or visit the nearby medieval village of Mazzano Romano for a unique culinary adventure.
Fabio M. Bongianni
After attending a cooking course in Paris at the Ritz Escoffier Cooking School, Fabio had several experiences in some of the most important restaurants in Rome like the “Dolce Vita” Sans Souci. Fabio then went on to create and manage one of the most successful steak houses in Rome, the T-Bone Station.
In 2004 Fabio opened Restaurant That’s Amore in the center of Rome close to the famous Trevi fountain and shortly after created Fabiolous Cooking Day. The restaurant and the cooking courses have experienced great success largely thanks to Fabio and his team of Chefs, who offer a unique hands-on experience to each guest.
In the cooking school, each guest does not only learn original recipes, but are involved in the cooking process from shopping for ingredients in local markets, to stuffing ravioli. With Fabio, guests, laugh, cook, drink wine, and most importantly, EAT. After a meal with Fabio, guests never feel like tourists but like friends.
